Dr Muhammad Shoaib is an Assistant Professor at the Area Study Centre for Africa, North and South America, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, and was previously associated with COMSATS University, Islamabad. He holds a PhD in American Studies. His research focuses on U.S. and China politics and the foreign policy of Pakistan. His research works have appeared in the Asian Survey, the Journal of Policing, Intelligence and Counter Terrorism, the Journal of International Development, and Space Policy, among others. He is a regular contributor to a number of national and international newspapers.
