Shiraz Shaikh is an Assistant Research Associate at the Islamabad Policy Research Institute, a public think tank affiliated with the National Security Division of Pakistan. He also holds an M.Phil. in International Relations and has previously worked as a Deputy Editor at Hilal Publications, ISPR. He has a keen interest in terrorism, traditional and non-traditional approaches to security, extremism, far-right and Islamic movements, and alliance politics.
