Consortium for Asia Pacific Studies (CAPS) research network was established in 2024 by Dr. Khurram Iqbal, Dr. Muhammad Shoaib and their colleagues. Associate Professor Dr. Iqbal is presently serving as Convenor of CAPS. CAPS membership, including representation on its Executive and Steering Committees, is multi-institutional, from different research and academic institutes of Pakistan. CAPS is guided by a Steering Committee and a Convening Committee. The Steering Committee provides high-level advice to the CAPS Convenor and Convening Committee on the strategic goals and operations of the CAPS research network. The Convening Committee manages the design and implementation of activities at the network, as well as contribute to strategic planning and development.
